Jessica Ruidiaz is one of 130 leaders chosen for this program from around the world. She created “Era en Abril” Foundation a year after the death of her first daughter, Sofía, who was barely two months old. Through her Foundation, she developed people to help other people not grieve alone in grief. Her community helped thousands of people who lost their babies and helped break down the taboo that perinatal death represents. In addition, from its Foundation, she participated in various investigations and international congresses to improve care related to grief and the prevention of perinatal death.
Our conference is part of this program that helps leaders from around the world harness the power of their communities and transform their high-impact ideas into action.

COMITÉS
Organized by the ERA EN ABRIL Foundation: the first non-profit organization in Latin America that provides support to parents of babies who have died during pregnancy, childbirth or after birth. It provides comprehensive support at different levels, a mutual aid group, professional accompaniment professionals specialized in mourning due to perinatal death; offers information, advice and training to health professionals and promotes prevention and awareness programs related to the issue.

BECOME A SPEAKER
We open the call to invite bereavement specialists, health professionals, researchers, parents organizations and families to join and promote the event by being part of the talks. To apply you have to meet the requirements to send an abstract with the proposed topic. A committee of experts will review the applications.
